Yep, page one of this thread.
I have another 4 entries that i know off but three of them were not on the original list.
I will not keep the entries open to the last minute so may put a closure date on this in the next two weeks.

Only two and a half weeks to go.

This will be your only chance to have a run round Crail as at the moment we will make a huge loss financially.
I will not commit to any other track session at Crail in the future, as the saying goes 'use it or loose it'

Same here Davie, is it worth it for 10, would we lose too much if we cancel it?

The event will not be cancelled. :thanks:

At the moment i have another 4 entries that i know of if i include myself and the lad. GMSC only had one paid entry as of yesterday hence the reason i was worried with regard to numbers. Looks like plenty track time for the escorts then which cant be a bad thing.

List updated, not long to go now.
If you are still pondering on whether to take part please state your intentions by the end of the weekend as we need to sort numbers and payment etc.

Colin, it's Andy and Julie Benson with a Westfield type kitcar, have passed on the payment details and they will e-mail you direct.

Thanks Graham :thanks: :thanks:

Things shaping up well now as the majority of cars will be escorts. I think a lot of people were aprehensive that they would be lost in a sea of subarus and evos out on the track but at this moment in time there are no evos and only one Subaru out on track. To be honest the other cars are a coulple of gti pugs and a vw polo which means that they will be watching their mirrors for escorts.
Only a few SOSE places left though so dont see much change taking place, could see us having a full house by the Sunday night which means we will close to further entries.

Grant, you can pay by cheque.

We really need things payed up beforehand for a couple of reasons:

Primarily, because of finger pointing in the past we need to have an audit trail of where the money comes from and where it goes and paying at the last minute doesnt allow for this to happen in an organised fashion. Also, i want to do the track day and be organised myself without messing around doing paperwork etc whilst everyone else is out enjoying themselves.
We also have to pay money up front for things and this couldnt happen if everyone waited to the day of an event.
There may be exceptions but where do you draw the line.
The highland tour last year was a prime example, whilst everyone was enjoying a drink there was a period of an hour and a half of discussions and arguments behind the scenes as we balanced the books that night, it was an avoidable situation but brought on by people throwing cash at us at the last minute.

Hopefully people can understand the reasoning as these events take up a lot of voluntary time and if we can minimise the last minute panics it makes it a lot easier.
